– Article 8 - Outstanding fines
- If during a stop or arrest the total outstanding fines exceed € 10,000,-, payment is mandatory under this article.
- If this occurs when reclaiming seized goods or vehicles, it may be required to pay first.
- If this occurs during an investigation, an additional fine or community service may be imposed.
- The amount is determined by the Officer of Duty and/or Public Prosecutor.
- This sanction is added to the total punishment.
